What does it really take to become a leader and have a successful home business in 2009? If you’re looking on this page to find the answer to that question and maybe check to see if I’m a real person and not just a picture on a landing page then I will address those issues and more.

So a little bit about me… I’m Vishal Bhatia I’m 29 years old and currently live in Minnesota, USA (but don’t be concerned if you live in another state or country – the beauty of the internet and a international call package I have means I can contact you just as cheaply and easily as if you lived across the street.)

I am an engineer by profession, husband to my wonderful wife Shaila, internet entrepreneur, marketing coach & mentor, all rolled into one.

I am originally from Haridwar (also known as the holy city) in northern India; Haridwar is where I spent the early part of my life. From there I moved to Boulder Colorado where I completed my Masters in 2004 in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado and worked as a senior engineer in Corporate America for over 5 years.

Despite having followed the golden rule of ‘work hard, get good grades and find a safe secure job’, I knew there had to be more to life than just this…something was missing.

I was headed for a life in what Robert Kiyosaki calls “The Rat Race”. Go to work, get a paycheck, pay bills and go back to work. That may be enough for some but I knew there had to be more and I just couldn’t ignore this feeling inside me.

Some call it an “entrepreneurial bug” but what ever it was I couldn’t deny it or let it die. I started simple by selling products on eBay. I had some success but I was looking for more.

That’s when I was introduced to what I thought was going to be the end all solution to my entrepreneurial needs…

MLM

What was to be financial freedom and a work from home dream turned into 3 years of hard work and no pay off. I went into MLM with a strong positive attitude and did everything my upline told me. Unfortunately for all the time and money I put in the best payday I ever had, a measly $312.

You might think I have a negative view towards MLM…but the invaluable lessons I learned in my 3 years of traditional network marketing I can now teach to other home business builders.

4 Powerful Lessons They Don’t Tell You in MLM…

For instance when I started with MLM I thought I had to chase people down in malls and grocery stores and tell them about my business. I thought I had to make a list of 100 close friends and family to introduce my business. I thought buying leads and cold calling them begging them to join my business was efficient marketing.

I also thought it was normal to have a downline were the majority of new recruits left within 3 months and all I had to do was get more people in the door and eventually a few of them would stick.

Boy was I wrong…

Those marketing techniques were not a recipe for success but a road to frustration. I soon began to question my decision about joining an MLM company. I believed in the business model and I had faith in myself that I could create success, but the problems I was having were taking its toll.

Becoming the Hunted Instead of the Hunter

It was on my quest to find the answers to the problems I was having in MLM I stumbled upon a program that would show me why the old school marketing techniques I used where a waste of time and ineffective. It would also introduce me to a 2 word concept that changed how I would market forever.

Those 2 words I learned were “Attraction Marketing” and the program I found was “Magnetic Sponsoring”. Thanks to Magnetic Sponsoring and “Attraction Marketing” I no longer struggle to find people to join my business, because now they hunt me down and ask me to join my business, quite a refreshing change from rejection over the phone and in public.

I now teach Attraction Marketing techniques to my associates right from the start saving years of rejection and wasted marketing dollars. As a matter of fact I have an associate tell me how she received a phone call from someone in Africa looking to join her business.

The Big Myth of MLM…

Another lesson I learned was I thought it would take me 3 to 5 years of real hard work and persistence before I saw any real financial results and gain that lifetime residual income I could pass down to the next generation.

That’s when my second life changing discovery would show me I was wrong. It was when I read “The Coffee House Letter” for the first time my idea of MLM and the entire home business industry was complete turned upside down.

Not only did I learn you don’t need years to build up residual income, but the lifetime residual income in MLM everyone is working for is nothing more that a myth.

The Coffee House Letter opened up my eyes to reality that with the right tools and the right system you can see results in your home business in as little as 90 days!

What a relief…

I wasn’t ready to start over again.

The Ultimate Leverage…

Just when I thought I learned it all both “Magnetic Sponsoring” and “The Coffee House Letter” taught me the power of using the internet to leverage myself and my marketing. When I was in MLM I didn’t use the internet to market my business, frankly I was a bit scared to venture into that realm.

What I didn’t know was I was missing out on the absolute most powerful tool to building a home business. A website or (non SPAM) e-mail can reach across the globe and recruit home business builders while I sit at home in Minnesota.

With the right tools and the right system even an internet newbie can be online and have a world wide presence recruiting leaders from the all ends of the Earth in no time.

Thanks to the internet I now have associates as far away as Sweden. I’ve never even been to Sweden yet I now have business partners there…how cool is that? I can tell you it’s a great feeling to have influence all over the world and it’s something I can teach you only if you’re one of my partners.

Before You Follow the Leader…

The 4^th and final lesson I learned came from the fact that my upline leaders in my previous MLM company weren’t making any money either. I was following and replicating a loosing formula.

You make the most money in this business by creating leaders in your own organization if you just have followers you’ll only get so far. If I wanted to create leaders I was going to have to become a leader myself.

But in order to lead you must first follow. It was time for me to stop following losers and wanna be entrepreneurs, and find someone who had already created the success in their business that I wanted to have.

I was forced to find an upline leaders who were actually making money and could show me an efficient system for marketing my business and myself, generate leads, and actually make money equal to or greater than the time and effort I put in.

What I found was the business I’m in now and the success I’ve been searching for ever since I followed my entrepreneurial instinct and jumped into business. Even making as much as $45,615 in one months time! (Income proof)

So this leads us to the question of how do you become one of my partners? Before I get to that I need to share something with you.

What All Unsuccessful People Lack…

You see during my home business journey I’ve found there is one element missing from people who don’t succeed… passion. Running a home business is a great way to make money, but if you don’t enjoy what you do then it will seem like work.

If everyday you don’t wakeup and start building your business with a smile on your face then you are not doing what you’re passionate about.

When you find the right business it doesn’t feel like work…as a matter of fact it feels totally fulfilling and energizing.

For me I can say without pause or hesitation that I love what I do…I absolutely love what I do. I love learning new information, reading new books, and investing time and money in myself. This not only helps me grow my business but my associates business’s too.

I’m I lucky or special for finding the business that would allow me to quit my job and replace a 6 figure income?

I don’t consider myself to be better or different from everyone else…I know what I do everyday and the success I have found can be achieved by anyone who wants it…

What makes me different is I saw an opportunity and I took action. Most people are to afraid to leave their comfort zone and will never reach a level of success they desire.
